I am pleased to inform that one of my photograph entitled "Serpula Worm" was selected as a Runner-Up among thousands of entries by a panel of expert judges in the La Mer & National Geographic Oceans Photo Contest.
Acceptable submissions were any ocean-related images, including but not
limited to shorelines, close-ups of waves, marine sea life, sea kelp,
coral, people enjoying the ocean, sailing at sea, long-boarding,
surfing, fishing.
To celebrate World Oceans Day, La Mer has created a limited-edition
Crème de La Mer jar and will make a $200,000 donation to Oceana, the
world's largest international ocean advocacy organization, as well as
other global initiatives for ocean conservation.
La Mer is proud to support ocean conservation efforts worldwide. La
Mer's World Oceans Day campaign seeks to raise awareness of the beauty
and restorative power of the sea and to protect its valuable resources
for future generations.
